I’m not sure how to feel with an NBC Poll agreeing with my debate breakdown

nbcnews_survey_monkey_overall_5e738f69ae23da099c1c6708441d87e5.nbcnews-ux-2880-1000

It’s not often NBC does real journalism anymore but, the latest “scientific” poll by the network agrees with my assessment of the last debate.

This is truly how most of you and I saw the debate.  Trump didn’t hurt himself.. while Cruz, Carson and Fiorina shined.  I’m also not surprise by Rubio’s move.

Thoughts?

I agree with you and this recap.....Jeb is establishment, milk toast, not excited about anything but Common Core. Watch out for Carly, she appears to be Donald Trump with the style of delivery needed to garner attention. While I love Trump's "get after it" style, he would be better served to make it about US(A) more and him less!

I would be proud to call anyone in this top 5 Mr(s) President. I'm excited about the group we have running. Gotta carry Florida though. Hoping Rubio gets on the ticket somehow.

I'm more surprised by the second place finish with Ted Cruz. I could hardly tell he was even in the debate. Huckabee was more impressive than Cruz. I think Trump and Bernie Sanders are appealing to those of us that are sick of politics as usual. We want people to tell it like they think it is, and not be afraid to tell you "too bad" if you do not agree with them. Is that enough to win an election though?

I was disappointed in Megan.. as every question to Donald had nothing at all to do with a debate of the problems we need to solve in our floundering country right now. I felt the questions were unfair to Donald.

I've started correcting people who refer to network news as "news". It's info-tainment and its a joke.

I agree w/ these results to this point. Trump will either have to step up his game or else his rhetoric will be caught by responsible reasoning. Cruz will continue to work his way through the mire of a beauty contest w/ solid factual positions on issues. Dr. Carson is by far an easy fit for Surgeon General, but don't stop now, he's gonna keep everyone honest! Fiorina is the worse nightmare for the Democrat left & it's easy to see why. Marco Rubio may be a secure choice for a V.P. candidacy. Trump's flame may blow itself out by lack of substance...

I don't trust NBC at all. My analysis had Trump falling off by a measurable amount and that tracks with this poll. I thought Walker would come up along with Fiorina, Cruz and Rubio. I did not expect to see Carson move up much but many people I know thought he did well. Trump has stepped over the line and I expect him to start to implode.

Good news!!! I would love to hear real questions asked of all the candidates. My hope was fox would be better than the past media run debates. We were all disappointed. Gossip and Celebrityitis are all they gave us.... I want a potus that stands on the Constitution not on thoughts floating in his head

I am so unhappy with Fox News. First Meagyn Kelly thought she was the star and the questions were unfit to all. Like him or not, Trump was treated terribly and equal time was NOT given to all 10. She kept going to her favorites with another minute. We didn't tume in to see her. No wonder Trump attacked her.

I think there are a lot of Trump enthusiasts, myself included, that don't really care how he speaks to or at people. We are sick and tired of pansy assed Republicans that can't or won't say or do anything. ( WTF is really going on in DC?) Translate the same feeling to liberals and foreign countries, WALLAH, he's got their attention. Now they're scared he will get in office and actually do something. That makes even the right smear him at every opportunity. Even if he takes the iron fist approach (while leaning sharply right) It would ALL be good for America and the world, unlike Obama going about ruining the country with unlawful executive actions and sneaky, sleazy, underhanded back room deals. Out right negotiating on behalf of the enemy with the full backing of this administration and the liberal left has to be stopped and then reversed. The GOP and RINO's obviously won't even try if they get in. They've proven that time and again. Trump is the closest thing we have to THROW THEM ALL OUT and start over fresh. The worst that can happen with a Trump administration is a stronger business economy, lower unemployment, stronger military, lower taxes and world respect. You can quote me on that.

Trump is a tool...literally....I wouldnt be suprised to find out later that he was planted by the Democrats in order to divide the vote...Trumps record as early as 2014 shows him to be a Democrat...he even admitted to being a supporter of their ideology and has been on their side on most topics such as immigration, abortion, guns and gay marriage....until recently of course, just before entering the race...how blind are you people?

I heard/seen Ben Carson on CBS this morning, he is coming up, he is not about taking the money of big corps Which is why many of "us" like Trump, he cannot be bought! Carson seems to be for the middle class American, which I think is who I see being Trump's largest supporters. Neither man has ever ran for a public office, which I find refreshing! not a career politician, FINALLY~!! Would love to see Trump/Carson on a ticket what a combo! The tea party is getting a black eye with the cheating scandal/cover-up in Michigan, Personally, I hope they can seperate themselves from the "Tea Party" movement. I don't think anyone wants scandal/betrayal behavior. We can accept anything Donald spews but there's something about liars & affairs that cross's a line. Commitment, Americans love to see someone who is committed to a cause, and follows thru with the Commitment. If a person cannot even stay in a committed relationship where children are involved, how could we think they could commit to an office?
